A lifelong learner, Ron has a wealth of experience designing and implementing commercial solar and battery energy storage systems on large scales.
His primary goal is to ensure his clients see a return on their investment within the first 5 years of installing solar with battery storage.
Before starting Aeterna Energy, Ron owned and operated a successful mechanical company for over 2 decades, which provided him with considerable experience in project management, financial planning, engineering and design, building structures, government and public works construction, and much more.
He has held positions such as Director of Engineering for a $50 million annual revenue firm specializing in mechanical and electrical systems, and holds California contractors’ licenses in mechanical, control and energy management systems, metal work, and solar industries.
Ron is a graduate from UC Davis and is a Certified Solar Roofing Professional (CSRP), one of only 10 in the state of California. He is also a North American Board Certified Energy Professional (NABCEP) and completes a minimum of 30 hours of continued educational training each year to stay up to date and on top of the latest technological developments in the solar industry.
